Surabaya, Indonesia, 05 February 2005: In a first for Michael Learns To Rock, they were provided with a full blown emPad system for their Surabaya concert by LASIKA Live Event productions.

The 2000 pax indoor venue proved too small for the 6 pcs CC35 full range cabinet that LASIKA set up for this concert.

On the MLTR FOH engineer's request, LASIKA engineers took down 2 pcs CC35 per side and the concert went on with only 4 pcs CC35 per side as main system, and 2 pcs B315 LF cabinets to augment the CC35 low end.

This goes to testify once again, that despite the 2pcs cutting edge, top class efficiency neodymium 15 inch LF speakers in the CC35, the Mid/High section made up out of 2 pcs 7 inch and 2 pcs High Dome drivers have a huge headroom allowing for extra LF cabinets to boost the overall SPL in a very balanced way.

Despite shrinking the main clusters by 50 %, the FOH console still showed 10 dB headroom on its outputs.
Ronald Sutikno, LASIKA's technical director and certified system designer reports: "MLTR FOH Engineer Mr.Paul Erik Lykke comments on the emPad system; "The system is very nice..I love it..good coverage!!"

9 pcs emPad DXA 2400 provided all needed power ( and some to spare ) for the FOH setup. FOH console was Midas XL200.
System Processing was 3 pcs emPad ESP224 proprietary processors.

Monitoring was partly in-ears and 6 pcs emPad MS69 powered by 3 pcs DXA2400 amps and 2 pcs ESP 224 processors.
